POEM OF PRAISE
Mindy Hartman

I love to sing my praises to my King,
To stand up tall and lift my voice so high.
It brings me much more joy than anything.
I want to sing to Him until I die.

I love to lift my voice in worship true
For in this way my Jesus I adore;
And oh, to sing of Him when I am blue,
Recapturing the joy I felt before.

I love to tell of Christ who lives above,
To sing about the peace He gives so sweet;
The lullabies He coos so like a dove
Are things which I to others must repeat.

I'd love to sing for Him my whole life long,
Yet more to live for Him a sweet love song.

MY PRAYER POEM
Mindy Hartman

O Prince of Peace, I pray that I might be
A candle burning brightly in the night
Reflecting your true love for all to see
That even blinded eyes may gain new sight.

O Gracious God, please grant that I might grow
Like flowers in a garden nourished well.
Your truths to me through daily life please show
So that of you my life might others tell.

Lord, help me to remember you are there
When all I really want to do is cry.
For if in you I trust and don't despair
Then some may see wherein my hope doth lie.

Dear Father, help me always to be real
So through my pain I might help others heal.
