One of the hats I wear under the umbrella of Out of Sight Ministries is vocalist.

|"Mindy knows and loves the Lord of whom she sings, and this is communicated in her music. Her enthusiasm and youthful spirit are appealing, and her desire to make a difference is exemplary."
Would you like to hear my background in singing? I hope so because I’d like to get to know you, too!
I was born blind and raised in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. I attended public school and sang my first solo in 2nd grade.
As a 5th grader, I began attending Mt Pleasant United Brethren Church and was active with the children’s music program.
At the age of 14, I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. At that time, I began singing with the adult choir at Mt Pleasant.
Since beginning a relationship with Jesus Christ, singing has taken on new significance! It is now an opportunity to use the gift God has given me to serve Him.
At Mt Pleasant, I met and became the student of Brian Mosior, my first voice teacher of about 3 years. I then studied with the late Margaret Weeks.
Since the age of 16, I have also been honored to sing for weddings, funerals, special music, and full-length programs whenever the opportunities have arisen.
As a student at the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, I sang in the Glee Club for 3 years.
In the fall of 1994, I joined Living Miracles, a choir of young people directed by Doris Ortman and affiliated with Camp Joy El. I sang with that group until the end of the 2004 concert season, when the group disbanded.
I was privileged to win the Franklin County Sunday School Association's teen talent contest in the spring of 1996. That was the beginning of my connection with this wonderful organization.
On several occasions, I sang at summer services held by the FCSSA at Caledonia State Park. What a blessing it is to worship God outdoors!
In 2005 I became a student of Paula Hepfer at the Cumberland Valley School of Music and continue to benefit from her training.
|"Mindy has a lovely, soprano voice and a poignant delivery. She moves me every time I hear her sing."
I began attending Central Presbyterian Church in Chambersburg in 2005 and sang in the choir there for a few years.
I am also working to expand my music ministry. Listen to clips from my first CD, Speak To Me Now: A Journey, which was released in November 2010.

|"I highly recommend Mindy for your church or group. I have enjoyed working with her as her accompanist whenever I have visited the Chambersburg area, and also when we have performed together at other venues. Not only does she have a very fine voice, she also has the heart of one who is willing to serve the Lord in any way she can. Mindy's presentation is real and transparent, and you will be blessed and encouraged by what she has to share."
In the fall of 2010 and spring of 2011, I had the privilege of singing with the Mercersburg Area Community Chorus.
|"I appreciate Mindy's ministry. She shared the Gospel in word and in song with a sweet spirit and sensitivity to the needs of God's people. I wholeheartedly recommend her."
Need a vocalist? Feel free to book me to plan a program at a nursing home and senior center. Invite me to share my testimony in song at your church, or call me when you need special music for banquets or weddings.
|"Once you hear Mindy's smooth, clear voice, you know she's a gifted vocalist. Once you hear Mindy's heart, you know she's a child of the King."
